Keith Murray is a poet and publisher currently engaged in exploring the mysteries
of the human mind and the possibilities of achieving beauty through the complexities
of the tragedy of histories imposed upon pleasant thought.
|
|
Ellena van Tebberen was born in Brisbane, Australia. Influenced by such fantasy
writers as J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and David Eddings, she has been writing since
the age of thirteen, when following the example of a friend, she decided to become
a writer too! With poetry published internationally, and a splattering of short
stories in various anthologies, Ellena is currently working on the first novel of
an adult's trilogy.

|
Roger Barnett started writing poems forty years ago as statements on how
he felt about the world and society in general. He still finds this work very therapeutic
even today. He likes to keep his poems as simple as possible, feeling that communication
is the important thing.

|
Catriona Yule is an Aberdeen poet, short story writer and playwright.
In November 2007, her first poetry collection Shedding Skin was launched
by Koo Press at Books and Beans and she has had poems published in Poetry Scotland
(website), Northwords Now and Pushing Out the Boat. She is currently
working on a second collection.
She will be performing at Pittenweem Arts Festival on 12th August and New
Words festival in September 2010.
|
|
Moira Brown, Co-Ordinator of Aberdeen Writers' Circle, writes mainly short
stories and poems.
She has won a major prize in a Writing Magazine competition and has won/been
placed in several other writing competitions. Several of her poems have been published
in Reach small press magazine. Until fairly recently on the prose panel of
Pushing Out the Boat, she is now on its copy editing team and spends her
time battling with commas, semi-colons and misspellings.
|
|
Gina Sherratt has lived in Scotland for 30 years and considers it home. Her
loves are her extended family, near and far. Creative writing, especially prose,
and delving into family history are her two passions. She is still searching for
the skeleton in the closet.
|
|
Andy Brown, well known in Aberdeen musical circles, is a peripatetic guitar
teacher in city schools. After taking an L.T.C.L teaching diploma he studied jazz
guitar at Leeds College of music. He composes and writes the lyrics for his own
songs and can sometimes be heard at the Lemon Tree on a Sunday playing jazz with
other musicians.
